The New York Peer-to-Peer Managing Partner Group is the premiere learning organization for New York mid-sized law firms. Focusing on all facets of running the firm, our goal is to learn from each other’s wins and losses to arrive at best practices for our industry. Discussions revolve around the highest level issues such as partnership and management of firms our size.
Membership is only open to Managing Partners or Executive Committee level attorneys from firms with 20-60 lawyers.
The group is led by Uri Gutfreund, Law Firm Insurance Guru at Singer Nelson Charlmers.
Meetings are held once a month from 8:00 – 9:30 AM in NYC.
What is it? Why join?
A small group of managing partners (5-8 maximum per group) of your peers discussing what’s working and what’s not yet working in your firm. The method of discussion format is peer to peer. You undoubtedly do a lot of things right, but the power of peer learning—learning from other firms’ experiences—is powerful, saving billable hours and valuable firm assets.
What is your commitment if you join?
The members of the group are committed learners and motivated partners of successful law firms. While there is no membership fee, membership is encouraged for those who will commit to attend a vast majority of the meetings. Attendance is by invitation only.
Who should attend?
Managing Partners or Executive Committee members. All groups are in mid-town.
